Casino Night Fundraisers are operated pursuant to State lottery laws. Any ticket price or entry fee charged for the event may be for entertainment or food, but must not be a requirement for entry to the casino. Note: Before booking any party with a casino supply company, be certain you get a copy of their insurance policy and a current California State License. You may want to do this prior to committing your time and effort.
Casino's make a profit incrementally of 1/2 to 1% on each deal. Everything we do at a 24/7 Fundraiser makes a small difference and gains a small edge. We strive to keep the players at the tables, smiling and donating more dollars to your event.
About one hour before your event starts, your Casino Manager will arrive to help finalize the structure of the evening. You will check the set-up, casino times, script re-buys, chip exchange and the awarding of any prize of the event. The dealers will arrive 1/2 hour before the casino begins. When your players arrive, they will receive a casino note, (pre-set amount). This script is exchanged at any table for chips. At a fundraiser, if a player runs out of chips, they many make a donation to the organization, or re-donate for additional script. Throughout the event players will win and lose. About 15 minutes before the event ends, the tables will close to allow players to tally and exchange their chips for raffle tickets.
Usually, organizers would prefer to award the biggest winner(s) any of the prizes to be given. However, a high tally encourages some players to pool their chips, causing the high tally player to lose. Re-donations will usually deep this practice from happening. Some organizers will opt for an auction based on the number of tally points. This has the same difficulty as a high tally. The preferred method of awarding prizes is with limited raffle tickets. Everyone has an equal chance at the prizes. We use two part tickets. We place one part of the ticket into a raffle drum, the other part goes to the winner(s). You announce the prize, draw a ticket, find the winner and award the prize.
